In light of the Abraham Accords, The Foundation for Defense of Democracies hosted Ambassador Al Otaiba, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the US, Abdulla R. Al Khalifa, and Israel’s Ambassador to the US, Ron Dermer, to discuss how all three nation’s plan to tackle Middle East peace and conflict in the future.

Yousef Al Otaiba joined creative leaders from around the world at America Abroad Media’s (AMM) 2020 Virtual Awards Dinner to discuss his long-time efforts to establish what is now known as the Abraham Accords.

The Hudson Institute hosted Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba for a virtual discussion on foreign policy and UAE-US relations.

In July 2020, the UAE successfully launched the long-anticipated “Hope Probe” and became the first Arab nation to embark on a mission to Mars. As the region’s first interplanetary spacecraft, Hope represents the UAE’s deep-rooted commitment to space exploration and will serve as the Red Planet’s first-ever weather satellite.

In October 2019, the Dubai Future Foundation organized a competition to promote passion for STEM education and innovation in youth. Ambassador Al Otaiba provided a welcome to help kick off the event.
