The UAE-US economic partnership is one of the world’s most consequential – deploying capital at scale, building advanced infrastructure and delivering impact at speed. With over $1 trillion already invested in the US and a $1.4 trillion, ten-year investment framework now underway, this is not an aspiration. It is reality, unfolding now.
This economic relationship marks a powerful testament to years of collaboration and a shared vision for the next decade of opportunity. It continues to expand in scope, impact and strategic alignment, from joint artificial intelligence (AI) ventures and data center investments to critical mineral supply chains and advanced manufacturing collaborations.
“This trust [between the UAE and the US] has paved the way for a bold new chapter: a strategic economic alliance poised to create tens of thousands of high-tech, energy and manufacturing jobs, driving prosperity in both of our countries.”
—Yousef Al Otaiba, Fox News, May 2025
In 2025 alone, UAE-US bilateral trade reached $39 billion, including $31.4 billion in US exports and a $23.8 billion US trade surplus, the US’ fourth-largest globally. The UAE has been the US’s top MENA export destination for 17 consecutive years. UAE trade and investment support jobs across all 50 states. 2025 ushered in another new chapter of growth, with the UAE deepening its economic partnership with the US through a landmark 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework – signaling a clear intent to build on a partnership grounded in trust and shared strategic interests.
Under the refreshed UAE‑US Trade and Investment Framework, both nations are lowering barriers, safeguarding intellectual property and streamlining customs, backing innovators, scaling businesses and creating jobs.
“Our partnership with the US, rooted in decades of trust, has become a beacon of what’s possible when nations collaborate.”
—Yousef Al Otaiba, Fox News, May 2025
