The UAE and Johns Hopkins Medicine have shared 50 years of collaboration in advancing medical research and treatments for patients worldwide. In 2018, this partnership expanded through a $50 million gift from the UAE to Johns Hopkins for the establishment of the Sheikh Khalifa Stroke Institute. Since then, the Institute has worked to improve stroke patients’ diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
