The Meridian International Center named Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba as one of the inaugural recipients of the Global Leadership Award for Space Diplomacy. Ambassador Al Otaiba’s support of the UAE’s space program and championing of the UAE-US space partnership has led to significant cooperation between the two nations in this field.
